Quizard 2.0 has been released for the iPhone/iPad and Android phones and tablets. A new version for the NOOK Color™ by Barnes & Noble has also been submitted and is awaiting approval as well.

1) Quizard is now available for many devices including tablets.

Quizard is now available on both phone and tablet devices for both Android and Apple's iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Look for Quizard in the Apple App Store, Google's Market, Amazon's App Store, and Barnes & Noble's NOOKStore.

2) Learning Modules on Tablet devices.

On tablet sized devices, you can now generate Crossword and Word Search puzzles, as well as study your cards with Match and Scatter games.

3) Pictures and Audio on both sides of the card.

You can now place pictures on both the front and back of your cards. Audio can also be added to both sides by downloading sets created on Flashcard Exchange

Now add photos from Flickr® to your flashcards. Here's how:

Create your Quizard flashcard as usual. On either side of the flashcard, you will see a button that gives you the option to "Add picture". Choosing this option will access the Flickr photo sharing website where people around the world have uploaded photos to share. Photos uploaded to Flickr are "tagged" with words that describe the picture. These tags are what allow Quizard to present the photos that you will choose for your flashcard. If you don't like the first photos you see, click the "Next" button to see more photos from Flickr.

4) Brand new choices change the look of your flashcards.

Now you can view your Quizard flashcards in three different formats - Dark, Light, and a simplified Kids version. You can choose each of these versions from the main Quizard screen by selecting the "Choose Skin" button, selecting the skin format you would like to see, and selecting the "Apply" button.
5) Upload your own flashcards to Flashcard Exchange on the web.

Now you can create your own flashcards in Quizard and upload them to Flashcard Exchange to share with others. Flashcard Exchange also allows you to add audio to your cards.

Note - When you upload card sets from Quizard to Flashcard Exchange any pictures or audio that are part of the set will not be uploaded (they do not support that yet). However, if you add audio and/or pictures once they are on Flashcard Exchange and download the set, the audio and/or pictures will also be downloaded.
