if you go to cast the spell hold person with a priest as the first action in a battle, it starts combat BEFORE you select the group you want to target unlike other spells which require you to select a group to target which wait to start combat till after you've actually cast the spell. same with heavy wound, actually, i'm guessing maybe this happens on all priest spells?, i'll test more.
