Spell casters seem to be able to 'give' their spells to someone else to use

Just noticed this... when fighting 2 or more mobs, a caster can sellect a spell, select a team mate and then select a target. The game then reports that the selected team mate cast the spell.
Haven't tested it enough to know if it effects who got the XP.
Android version 2.1.
