If you think rolling a Ranger is hard in this version of Oubliette, you should try the original. In that version, you could only roll about 10 or 20 times before the roller started to 'decay', and your probability of rolling even a decent character started to drop dramatically. We really wanted characters like Rangers to be quite rare, and, believe me, they were (I never rolled one).
